Heat is what ends a hike early.

Soak it, wring it out, put it on. Three layers of polyester mesh hold water in the weave and lose it slowly to evaporation — up to an hour per soak. Re-wet it from a bottle and keep going.

It's cut to leave room for a harness over the top. Two quick-release buckles set the chest and belly, and reflective trim runs the full outline.
